summer jobs

now that im 18 it was so much easier to get a summer job. literally just interviewed and was given the position the next week. granted, this job pays only 7.50 an hour and one of the other employees was my arch-nemesis from high school, but one of my best friends is working there too and also, its a counselor job and i loveee kids so it should be fun, as long as i steer clear of my nemesis and his lackeys. idk if he has those, really, but honestly it makes him sound much more sinister if he does.

on a ridiculous note, i have been deprived of one of my favorite activities for almost 2 months and it's starting to be an issue. im not even gonna say what it is cause the 2 people who read my blog will know exactly what im talking about cause i complain about it constantly. also im really sick of the song E.T. its just a huge wtf katy/kanye moment for me now.

also, i realized i havent had pie in a long time. oh never mind i think i had some last week. note to self: buy some apple pie in the near future. and eat it.

somehow i got an A in physics

SOOO somehow i got an A in physics and creative writing even though my creative writing professor that i wouldnt be getting an A, and so like wtf i will be getting a 4.0 if i didnt bomb my bio exam?? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE

im actually proud of myself, or at least i will be after the shock wears off. cause last semester i did pretty shitty. jk i got a 3.3 but thats still pretty bad considering i am in the honors program. watevskies ill take it :)

im eighteen now, and nothing feels any different than when i was 17. and i havent done any 18-year old things yet. no lottery tickets, no porn, and no getting tried in court as an adult. thankfully.

through jack and allyson, i have discovered the show psych. we tried to watch it on netflix months ago but no one was paying attention. just like when we watched social network and that other movie about college where the girl died in the bathtub and the other one got raped and then it snowed or something.

that movie was bad. but like actually. anyways im sick of blogging and only keep it up out of this weird sense of obligation i have to the internet. really odd, i know.

italiaa

omg italy was so great. if you wanna see the pictures, theyre on facebook. i got to see all of the important monuments in rome, like the spanish steps, the trevi fountain, the cat sanctuary, the vatican (st peters basilica AND the sistine chapel) and the pantheon, the colosseum... and i went shopping A LOT. i also saw the roman forum. my favorite part, though, was on the last day when we took a one euro train 20 minutes out of rome to Ostia Antica. It's an ancient city that used to be a seaport but due to earthquakes is a bit inland now. it was amazing. most of it isnt restored, so its basically just a city of ruins that you can explore and climb on. the coolest thing was the awesome black and white floor mosaics of amazing scenes and the amphitheater. so much funnn

spring break

just finished cleaning my dorm room. sort of. im ready to go home. sort of. and i have packed for italy. sort of. well i am not really ready to go to italy. i mean technically i am, i have my passport and money and clothes and stuff but i dont know if im mentally ready to have that much fun. im gonna get picked up from school soon and i am tired and i skipped my multi lecture so i could clean.

the reason im going to italy is to visit my cousin, whos studying abroad there this semester. im visiting with her immediate family (her sister and her parents) who are, by no coincidence, my cousin aunt and uncle. im not very interesting why are you reading this.

im gonna miss my boyfriend a lot cause i wont be able to text him cause ill be overseas, but he promised he would email me every day. maybe we can talk on facebook too. ill probably be too busy to talk to him much, which is okay cause i will see him as soon as i get back to school.

ps my birthday is in about 3 weeks yayay 18
