I'm about to go out, but before I do, I would just like to mention that I love ice cream. I like most flavors of ice cream, including strawberry, chocolate chip cookie dough, rocky road, chocolate, vanilla, mint chocolate chip, and ben & jerry's flavors such as cherry garcia, banana split, chunky monkey, and brownie batter. mmmmm.

(click here for all ben&jerry's flavors currently available — they're worth checking out!)

But I think one of the most underrated frozen treats is not ice cream, but is frozen yogurt. Not the "frozen yogurt" that is actually ice cream in disguise, but actual, live-culture frozen yogurt like they serve at 16 Handles.I honestly cannot think of a time that I would NOT be in the mood for frozen yogurt, since i love yogurt and frozen is the way i like my foods served (I am absolutely ADDICTED to frozen mango chunks and frozen blueberries. I also chew ice chips like a maniac. It is actually a problem. But more about that another time.)

Frozen Yogurt is not only more fun than ice cream, but is much, much healthier too. Sure, 16 handles isn't as cheap as getting a small softserve from DQ, but think of how simultaneously cold, tangy and sweet "fro-yo" is.

On a music note, Joshua Radin has totally got it going on. I absolutely LOVE this song. The harmony is so sweet, and the guitar is light and airy.

And of course I want some frozen yogurt now.
