oh shoooootttt its saturday and time for another song spotlight!!!

but i dont have my playlist that i had planned cause im away from my houseand i dont have my tablet so i cant even draw a picture and i totally forget the song that i was gonna use this week. so i think that I am gonna just choose some random song and talk about where i first hear it

This is classic Brand New. Okay I Believe You But My Tommy Gun Don't is this week's song spotlight because it will always be one of my favorite songs, no matter what.

"I am heaven sent, don't you dare forget," is how the song starts, after a simple repeated melody picked out on a guitar plays out for a couple of measures.

I love it. The lyrics speak to me. I first heard this song in December of 2006, when I went to a Brand New concert in Madison Square Garden, my first real concert ever. I asked someone what song Jesse was playing and they told me the name of the song, so long winded that I thought it may have been a joke. I can't believe I had never heard this song before December of 2006, because it's one of Brand New's best songs in my opinion. Whatever I gotta stop rambling.
